Population and Sampling of Study

In a research, the population is defined as a large collection of people that might have answer to the problem being researched for a given geographical area (Rashid, Caine & Goez, 2015). Merriam (2009) defined population as a group of individuals with knowledge needed for the study. Massey and Kirk (2015) defined sample as the representation of a population while providing collective perspective.
